Respite Care

Respite care provides short term relief for primary caregivers who usually are family members. When you care for someone sick or disabled, it\'s a 24 hour commitment. Our qualified Respite care givers will care for your loved one while the primary caregiver take a break to reduce stress, catch up on rest, or address various other personal responsibilities. This service allows you to get the support when you need it. A minimal 6 hours per visit is necessary in order for our caregivers to ensure your loved one needs are met.

Skilled Nursing Visit

Skilled nursing visit is not a full nursing shift unlike private duty nursing. A registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) visits are intermittent nursing services ordered by a physician for a recipient whose illness, injury, physical, or mental condition creates a need for the service. Services under the direction of a registered nurse (RN) are provided in the recipient's residence by an RN or a licensed practical nurse (LPN), and provided under a plan of care or service plan that specifies a level of care that the nurse is qualified to provide. A patient may receive multiple visits a day or just a few each week, depending on the care needed and orders from their physician.

Services Provided Include:

  • Administer medications including IV infusions and injections
  • Wound care and dressing changes
  • Monitor certain vital signs along with other similar nursing procedures and assessments
